Seems like Dr. Serizawa’s son is one of the villain here who might have helped building the Mecha Godzilla/Mecha Ghidorah with the help of Alan Jonah (who collected Gidorah’s head in the last movie). Since Serizawa dedicated his whole life for studying Godzilla and couldn’t spend much time with his son, his son already has hatred towards Godzilla. Moreover it’s Godzilla because of which his father died, so it’s obvious that he wants to take revenge from Godzilla. Although he might return being good boy in the end and might join a fight against Mecha Godzilla or Mecha Gidorah.

@GETJaby I think Godzilla probably be manipulated by Apex, because according to Godzilla: King of the Monsters, they have a device called Orca to communicate with Mothra, it is possible that they find a way to control Godzilla, I agree that MechaGodzilla would be in the new movie, but I think Godzilla and Kong would fight for real, because according to the Easter egg of Kong: Skull Island, one of the cave paintings showed that at both of their ancestors fought before, there’s no reason they wouldn’t fight. I also think that they would add MechaGhidorah in Godzilla vs Kong, because according to the Easter egg of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the main villain purchased a head of Ghidorah from a fisherman like he was up to something.

I'm going 100% for K. I. N. G. K. O. N. G. ALL the way no matter WHAT. Even though Kong doesn't have any power like the lizard Godzilla 🐲 and other monsters haves KONG all the way. Godzilla is smart but COMPARED Godzilla peanut brain KONG is WILL OVER SMART Godzilla. Kong is much SMARTER, FASTER, MORE FLEXIBLE more Legit and AWESOME POWER than the lizard Godzilla.
