My final Top 5 QBs for the 2021 NFL Draft. This QB class is a very good one!
1. Trevor Lawrence (Clemson, 6' 6", 220 lbs / 1,98m, 100kg)
Trevor won the national title as freshman in 2018. He is a generational talent that carries special leadership quality and an exceptional football IQ. Lawrence is accurate with the football to all levels of the field and brings a dynamic athletic profile to the table.
2. Justin Fields (Ohio State, 6' 3", 228 lbs / 1,90m, 103kg)
Fields entered the transfer portal after the 2018 season with Georgia, sitting behind Jake Fromm. After transferring 2019 he had two great seasons with Ohio State. Fields has the athletic profil of a modern day quarterback and his arm strength is among the best in the class.
3. Zach Wilson (BYU, 6' 3", 210 lbs / 1,90m, 95kg)
Wilson rose up draft boards this season more than any other player. He played a terrific junior season with BYU. He throws the ball effortlessly and when it comes out of his hands it has a lot of zip. He can fit the ball into tight windows and is also able to push the ball downfield for deep throws due his very talented arm.
4. Trey Lance (North Dakota State, 6' 4", 226 lbs / 1,93m, 102kg)
Lance wasn’t the highest-recruited athlete in high school. He chose to go to North Dakota State for college after not getting much attention from FBS schools. Lance makes great decisions with the football. He had one career interception in college. Trey Lance is also one of the most athletic quarterbacks in the draft class. He is able to escape pressure to create big plays.
5. Mac Jones (Alabama, 6' 3", 214 lbs / 1,90m, 97kg)
Jones doesnt have the talent and stats of the other top QBs in 2020, but the makes up for it with elite efficiency. Mac Jones is smart, decisive, quick with his processing, and when in rhythm, he delivers passes with velocity and accuracy.
