1) Why godzilla attack random facilities? First of all, it's not random. In 2:05, on the billboard u can see godzilla specificly targeted facilities from organization called "Apex" ( he is protecting the balance of the world like he did in KOTM from whatever that is not from earth or will endanger earth- Mechagodzilla). 2) So, who created mechagodzilla? I don't think government created it, orelse they would alrdy know why godzilla is provoked. My bet is the terrorist organization from KOTM. They bought in ghidorah's head for stdy in order to reproduce orca / use it as an energy core or sumthin to power up mechagodzilla. However, I don't think they are rlly capable of the idea itself, and that is why they invite the specialist for it, and a vengeful one -Dr Serizawa' s son, the Japanese guy who you can see standing infront of the mechagodzilla blueprint in the trailer. He might blame godzilla for his father's death and work together with the terrorist to create a new organisation called Apex. 3) If u ever notice that there's 3 color details during the warner bros and legendary logo. The first Warnerbros logo (rusty color) represent kong, where u can see some urban drawing similar to the drawings from skull island. The second legendary logo represent godzilla, where u can see alot of his blue energy color showing up on the logo. But if u look closer, ull see red energy hidding behind those colors. They will fight each other, but a 3rd party will surface. The trailer said "One will fall", but when did they say there's only 2 of them fighting each other xD.

I got an interesting question. If kong is “King Kong” when does he get the title of “king” in the trailer everyone referred to kong as simply “kong” Rebecca halls character did say “kong bows to no one” implying the title of “king” but what has to happen in order for that to happen if Godzilla is already crowned as “king of the monsters”? Also why in the trailer every shot of Godzilla and kong it’s always kong throwing shots at Godzilla? Not one scene shows Godzilla actually landing a shot on kong, atomic breath misses, no tail whip, bite, or claw scratch that we see visually (yet) any theories?

Anyone wondering, his axe is made from an ancient tree of skull island and the blade is actually one of Godzilla’s back spikes (hence why is can absorb the blast). Now whether that’s Godzillas spike or Dagons spike we don’t know.
