Oh im so happy to find you! I Always liked you two but i Stop watching buzzfeed ages ago because there where so many actors left. (Which is never a good Thing) and i also disliked the amount of Personal Things shared there. I neither Need nor want to know some of the very Personal Things there.

Okay, so I have a question and I hope it doesn’t offend anyone. If a straight woman were to date a man that transitioned into a woman would she still be considered as straight? (I genuinely don’t mean to offend anyone, but this is a question I’ve had for a while.)

It strikes me that one of the things that a lot of people are missing is that workers of the past fought really hard not only to get decent wages, but also to get limits to the work day, and that our current work environment has thrown out the limits to work days. Whether a job pays well or not, people are expected to work themselves to death for a company. What's even more mind boggling is that the people at the top are making even MORE in comparison than the workers in their company than back when our ancestors were fighting for basic labor rights. I can't tell you to not feel bad about how you weren't able to do enough or that you were privileged and were sad and burnt out any way, because you are going to feel what you feel. But, I want to tell you that those feelings are pressed on you by a system that doesn't value your work enough. You are wonderful, and your work is valuable. I'm glad that you guys have started your own thing. I hope that you are able to build an environment where you can support each other properly, share the income from the work across your workforce fairly, and do the work that allows you to bring the best version of yourselves to the world while also giving space to protect yourselves and build yourselves up. Much love to you and to all the people watching this video who recognize all those same factors in their own workplaces. We CAN build better workplaces and a better world together.

Pancakes are both the easiest things to make and the hardest thing to learn to cook, IMO. IDK what kind of recipes you weren't following, but perhaps actually following them would have worked better? I made Pumpkin pancakes by measuring out some whole wheat pancake mix for 12 pancakes according to box, adding a can of pureed pumpkin, and water until it looked like batter. One thing about pancake batter is, you should let it sit a few minutes before using, so the flour will hydrate. My dad was a very creative cook, trying to find ways to add nutrition (by the day's standards) to foods in sneaky ways. He often added a can of drained corn to the pancake mix, which sounds awful, but, corn is sweet, so it was just a weird texture - no one expects a juicy *pop* when eating pancakes lol. He also used to add leftover cereal, and since they tried to keep healthy, that meant stuff like raisin bran or granola. Sometimes he'd let the cereal soak in a little milk for a bit to soften it up (mostly the flake cereals), and that makes them break up as you mix the batter instead of being clumps of cereal.

Damn do people really think that people having resources and talking about their experiences are privilege? It’s your story and what you went through, yeah company’s taking advantage of their workers is common to me but still, I don’t think it’s privilege you being able to speak about it and how it affected you. After years of shitty managers and co workers being mean girls bullies I found a job that is stressful and tiring but I love and I got lucky with an awesome manager who actually cares about me as a worker even though he gots so many other workers on different floors. I got lucky being able to get a 16 dollar job with high school experience alone, I make almost as much as my dad who has a manager job, yeah me and bf are scraping by with no home for ourselves yet but my kid has a roof over his head and we’re able to support him and ourselves so I’m pretty lucky in my opinion. Even though we’re just surviving I try to help my sister in law since she has it worse than me, bf doesn’t have a job yet keeps spending her money, almost all of the money she makes goes to the baby or his car/ payment to it, plus she only has a small baby sitting job that the bf craps on all the time yet he won’t just get a job cuz “I don’t like the hours”, “I wanna be my own boss”, or “I don’t like what they do” so yeah I’m pretty lucky especially since even though she’s struggling she still helps me by taking me to work since our car got totaled a month ago. Being able to talk about experience is not privilege and please don’t feel that way, acting like a privileged brat even though you’re being treated equally to everyone else or not being treated like shit is privilege so please don’t feel like you’re experiences are not valid or should not be

I loved the empty suitcase show. One of my favourite things to watch on MNpost. Sometimes the best thing to do in the long run, is the scariest thing to do in the short term. Don't feel bad that you got put and started looking out for yourself. I know what it feels like to give everything to can to work, and have them expect for more. Take care.

This made me think of my job. I work for a large popular place that deals with animals. I got bitten by a dog and now have a messed up hand. And they didn’t even pay me for the entirety of the beginning of COVID even though I was working. And I recently didn’t get paid for a month. When I brought up not getting paid I was told “well you don’t HAVE to work here”. But I feel trapped by the benefits and the friends that I made.

I've been watching Ladylike obsessively for the last week and was wondering why there hasn't been any new content....because I love your stuff, loved watching a crew of strong women do cool stuff while feeling like they're people I could totally be friends with irl. This video breaks my heart. I want to hug you both, especially because I can sympathize with the raging anxiety/depression with massive panic attacks while trying to come off as highly functioning part.
